This week at Crossroads, we talked about passionately following Christ. The fact of the matter is that we can’t follow Christ if we don’t know where he is leading, and the best way to recognize Jesus’ voice is to read the Word of God. So, I challenged our church to commit to spending time in God’s Word each day for the next two weeks.
It goes back to the temptation we all have to spend more time reading thoughts from someone else’s time in Scripture, rather than immersing ourselves in it.
I can’t wait to see what God does over the course of these next two weeks, and what happens as a result of them.
