I had this thought after watching this clip the second time. In ministry – and I’m certain in other aspects of life – we are forced to speak into different contexts and situations with different “voices.”
To the hurting, we are loving and compassionate.
To the rebellious, we are confrontational.
To the broken, we are voices of healing.
To the proud, we are voices of rebuke.
Whatever it is that you’re dealing with right now, ask yourself if your voice matches the needs of the situation.
What voice do you need to use more often?
