300 Comments and Growing

Thanks John for writing the 300th comment on this blog!

18 months ago I blew up the comments on my blog. It wasn’t an intentional decision, but a mistake that I simply wasn’t able to fix. I had been blogging for two years and lost somewhere around 150 comments.

And thanks to the community that reads this blog (even you folks who don’t comment), we now have 300 comments.

For us public school graduates, that means we have twice as many comments in less time!

So I wanted to stop, celebrate that milestone, and say thank you!

While the number of comments is exciting, I’m more thrilled about the number of conversations that includes, and the number of relationships and friendships that have been built. 300 is a number (and an awesome movie, but that’s another post), but the relationships are what matters.

And along with that, please be patient enough to allow me to add this: If you’re not contributing to the conversations on this blog, we are missing your voice. You have something to say. You have something to contribute. Please see this as your invitation.

Thanks so much John. I found it to be quite meaningful that the 300th comment was on such a deeply personal and profound thought on your memory of September 11th.
